there they were.

A Passed Inspection Doesn’t Mean a Home Is Guaranteed Termite-Free

“The house passed.”

and naturally assume the property has no termites.

A professional termite inspection documents visible evidence of termites or other wood-destroying organisms at the time of the inspection.

Inspectors cannot see through drywall.

What Is a Wood Infestation Report (WIR)?

In South Carolina, the inspection commonly required during a real estate transaction is called a Wood Infestation Report, or WIR.
